What is the Pomodoro Technique?
A time management method based on focused work sessions and short breaks.
The Pomodoro Technique, developed by Francesco Cirillo, is a cyclical system that breaks down work into manageable intervals, separated by short breaks. This method helps to improve focus, reduce mental fatigue, and increase productivity.
How It Works:
- Choose a task you want to work on.
- Set the timer to 25 minutes (one "Pomodoro").
- Work on the task without interruption until the timer rings.
- Take a short break of 5 minutes to relax.
- After four Pomodoros, take a longer break of 15-30 minutes.
Key Benefits:
- Improves focus by minimizing distractions.
- Reduces burnout by encouraging regular breaks.
- Increases accountability and motivation.
- Helps you better estimate the time needed for tasks.
